The other day I cleaned off my desk, which is always a tricky task because I always end up losing something (insert irony here). In the midst of the mess, I came across these three haiku poems. I don't know when I wrote them or in what context they were created, but I do know they were inspired by my public library work. Nothing special, likely nothing very good, but definitely a part of my life's archive. So, there.
Goodbye dearest friend.
My heart will ache with sorrow
forever trapped.
Angry bald guy ban
Good call, city attorney
Save the drama, son.
I speak no English
Need your collection for help
Oh, me so happy.
