Year of Gratitude - Day 164

I am grateful for all the books I'm exposed to through my work at the library. Perhaps one of my favorites is a recommendation by a fellow food-loving librarian, Nicole. She shared with me Harold McGee's On Food and Cooking. As I perused her copy, I found it packed full with information, interesting information, on every variety of food. I swear there were at least 4 ways to tell if an egg is spoiled or not.

Anyway, I finally got this book added to my local library's collection. I've purchased it for a chef friend of mine. This year, I added a copy to my kitchen. I know it will be well used.
