Today is George Orwell's birthday. He is definitely one of my favorite authors. I don't normally read a lot from the same author, but Orwell is definitely an exception. The moment I finished 1984 I knew that I loved the dystopian novel. Then I read Animal Farm and Down and Out in Paris and London, and I was hooked. Grateful to have had the chance to read Orwell early.
I'm always on the hunt for a copy of Down and Out in Paris and London.
