Year of Gratitude - Day 38 - Hearing my Babcia's stories

On Christmas Eve in 2011, I sat with my Babcia and she told me all of these incredible stories about her childhood. What she experienced as a young girl and then woman in Poland makes much of my life experience pale in comparison. Anyway, I was grateful to have spent that time with her, as she passed away very shortly after.
